The ZTE Blade A35 is a Unisoc-based smartphone, and like many SPD devices, it may enter a dead boot state due to firmware corruption, failed flashing, or partition damage.
This guide provides a safe and tested procedure to bring the device back to life using Pandora Tool or Infinity CM2SPD.
This is a technician-level process and should be performed carefully to avoid further damage.
🔧 What Causes Dead Boot on ZTE Blade A35?
Common reasons include:
- Interrupted flashing
- Wrong firmware or PAC file
- Corrupted bootloader/partition table
- Formatting critical partitions
- Sudden power loss during an update
🧰 Tools You Need
- Pandora Tool (latest version)
- Infinity CM2SPD
- SPD/Unisoc drivers installe
- ZTE Blade A35 dump file (link will be added once provided)
- Good USB cable
🛑 Important Warning
DO NOT format any partition manually — especially boot, gpt, or super.
Formatting the wrong partition can permanently kill the device.
✅ Step-by-Step Dead Boot Repair Procedure
1️⃣ Backup Your Device (Important!)
Before writing anything to the phone:
- Open CM2SPD or Pandora
- Perform Full Backup
- Backup everything except:
- SUPER
- USERDATA
These partitions are large and unnecessary for boot repair.
This backup is your safety net in case anything goes wrong.
2️⃣ Restore the Provided Dump File (Downgrade / Boot Repair)
Using your preferred tool:
Using Pandora
- Open Pandora → Unisoc → Dump Write
- Load the provided dump file
- Put the phone
- Connect USB
- Start write process
- Wait for 100% completion
Using CM2SPD
- Open CM2SPD
- Select the correct chipset (UIS8581 / SC9863A depending on variant)
- Load the dump/boot repair files
- Connect
- Write the required partitions
Restoring this file brings the device back to a clean, stable boot state.
3️⃣ Perform Factory Reset / FRP Reset (Authorized Only)
After restoring the dump:
- Use Pandora or CM2SPD to perform factory reset
- Do not wipe individual partitions manually
- If the device was previously managed (MDM/enterprise), follow authorized activation steps
This ensures the phone boots without leftover data conflicts.
4️⃣ Power On and Final Verification
Now power on the device:
- Confirm the phone boots to the system
- Test touchscreen, Wi-Fi, SIM, IMEI, Bluetooth
- If needed, flash full PAC firmware to finish the repair
At this stage the phone should be fully operational.
